Welcome to PotApron
PotApron products are designed by studio potter Joanna Howells. The company is named after her first creation, a potter’s apron designed to meet health and safety requirements for students and apprentices. Word of mouth spread quickly and the PotApron soon proved its value to studio potters around the world.
PotAprons are water-resistant, durable, practical, convenient and safe.
The PotApron is great because it’s made in line with industry best practice in respect of managing exposure to silica dust. Fabrics made from natural fibres, such as cotton, retain the finest, most dangerous silica dust in their fibres, even after washing.
James Otter, Potclays
A very big thank you! The new pot apron has been put through its paces and came out flying. It’s great! I was totally dry for the first time in years.
